Over time many things can stain your teeth such as smoking, coffee, tea, fruit juices, and just normal wear and tear can cause teeth to appear yellowed. Whitening is an inexpensive and safe option to bring back the brightness and enhance your smile.
It is important to note that teeth whitening is not permanent and regular touch-ups may be needed. Also, bleaching materials only have the ability to work on your natural tooth, it will not change the color of any crowns or fillings. Therefore, the replacement of old fillings or crowns might be necessary in order to get a cohesive and bright new smile. This process is done after bleaching to allow your dentist to get a perfect match.
Our office uses Opalescence tooth whitening systems, which provides three different options to get you the bright white smile you’ve always wanted.
Ready-to-GO: A box comes with enough bleaching trays for 10 treatments. The trays are disposable and mold to your teeth. This is the quickest and easiest whitening method since no dental visit or impressions are needed.
Customized Trays: Custom trays and whitening gel offers professional whitening in the convenience of your own home. Impressions are taken and our dental technician will create custom trays. The whitening gel will be put into these trays and worn for specific periods of time. Wearing the trays periodically will help in maintaining the results once the desired whitening is achieved.
In-Office: Opalescence Boost is our in-office whitening system. This stronger whitening gel offers brighter, whiter teeth after an hour in the dental chair.
